Antler Reishi Mushrooms are a species of medicinal mushroom that have been used for thousands of years in Asian countries to increase health and longevity. It is native to Europe, Asia, and North America and prefers tropical, subtropical, and temperate climates with plenty of deciduous hardwoods such as oak and maple. The foraging of Antler Reishi mushrooms is very difficult because this species is very rare. In a forest of 100,000 trees, only about 2 or 3 of those might have Reishi fungi attached to them. Antler Reishi Mushrooms while great for your health in many are not consumed in their natural state due to their bitter woody taste and hard texture.
